Can I join the club?

​

All teams for this season - Winter 2023, running in terms 2 and 3 - are full and we cannot accept more players. You may want to speak with other clubs in the Coburg Basketball Association about possible availabilities.

Waiting list Summer 23/24

You can join the waiting list for Summer 23/24 (starting in Term 4) by clicking the button below and entering the details into the form.

We will begin registering players in the last two weeks of Term 3, and will make offers to new players on the waiting list to fill any available roster spots. If you have not received an offer to join the club by the end of the first week of the school holidays then we did not have sufficient vacancies to offer your child a spot on one of our teams.

What age groups do you have?

​

We have teams ranging from U8 to U18 playing in the Coburg Basketball Association's junior domestic competition.

​

What do I need to know about the games?

​

Games are on Saturday, starting between 8.00am and 3.00pm. While times vary, U8-U12s usually play in the morning and the U14-U18s in the afternoon.

​

Games occur at a number of venues (mostly schools) in a range of inner-north suburbs including Brunswick, Northcote, Coburg, Pascoe Vale South, Dallas and Preston.

What do I need to know about training?

​

Training sessions start between 4.00 and 5.30, last for an hour, and occur Monday-Friday depending on the team.

​

We train at Brunswick Secondary College, University High School and Brunswick Stadium.

​

What does it cost?

​

There are three costs associated with playing with Brunswick Magic:

• In Winter 2023, Brunswick Magic's registration fees is $290 (school terms 2 & 3).

• Basketball Victoria's licence is $29 for a year (two seasons).

• A club jersey costs $70 new, and can sometimes be purchased second hand for $35
